Job Overview:
The Vice President of Human Resources is a senior executive who leads the HR department and develops and implements strategic initiatives providing guidance to the organization's HR operations. The VP of HR is responsible for ensuring that Jordan Valley has the right people with the right skills in the right roles to achieve its goals and objectives. The Vice President of Human Resources creates the desired workplace culture which includes an engaged and productive workforce through Jordan Valley’s proactive policies, programs, and practices.
Duties:

Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

Oversee all aspects of the talent management lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, career pathing, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

Set and implement a vision, strategy, and operating model to create an exceptional employee experience.

Partner with business leaders to identify and address workforce challenges.

Ensure compliance with all employment law, regulations and best practices

Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations

Manage HR budget and resources effectively.

Develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs including compensation models.

Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies. Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency

Prepare reports using business metrics and KPIs

Stay up to date on current HR trends and best practices.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business or related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry with 1,000+ employees.

Proven track record of success in developing and implementing HR strategies.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of employment law and regulations.

Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in related field.

SPHR or SHRM certification.
