We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to join the Irvine, CA office. In this crucial role, you will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including AP/joint interest billings, cash receipts, revenue recognition and fixed assets
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Coordinate and oversee the annual external audit process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies to maintain data integrity and financial compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations and investments, to provide financial analysis and support strategic initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations, ensuring the company's compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- MUST have experience working in public accounting in either audit or assurance
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting automation tools.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
