Shift opportunities:
- Mon-Fri: 7am-1pm OR 1-6pm
- Sat: 7am-12pm OR 12pm-5pm
- Sun: 8am-3pm
Middle shifts also available on busier days (8am/9am-3pm)
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Wait on in-store customers & take phone calls with top notch customer service
- Prepare/assemble basic pastry items (filling cannolis, striping eclairs, bagging cookies, etc.)
- Package items for in-store display/purchase & wholesale accounts (cookie packs, scones, coffee cakes, etc.)
- Prepare coffee and other specialty beverages (lime rickeys, lattes, etc.)
- Package daily cake orders keeping slips/boxes neat and organized
- Take custom cake/pastry orders over the phone & in store
- Tipped position which GREATLY increases hourly wage
Qualities/Other:
- Ability to multi-task and work at an efficient work pace as store is always very busy with in-store guests and everyday work tasks
- Always pleasant attitude with a will to learn and grown within the company
- Reliable & dependent (on-time, follow rules, limited call-out)
- Family owned and operated business -- customer service skills MUST be excellent
- Previous food industry experience is a plus but not necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
