Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for securing new business and managing existing accounts throughout the entire product lifecycle and providing customer support. The Sales Manager will report progress to the president of the company on a regular basis.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
- Manage accounts internally and externally to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure profitability
- Effectively communicate with customers via in-person meetings and/or phone calls and translate customers’ requirements into technical specifications
- Recommends product solutions which link to customer objectives
- Works to differentiate SK Enmove Americas’ value proposition and establish competitive advantage
- Assist in creating sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support company vision
- Communicate and troubleshoot issues regarding purchase forecasts, orders, payment, contracts, credit, complaints, and/or claims
- Review and submit accurate monthly/annual sales plan
- Update and manage customer profiles and other CRM data
- Monitor and analyze sales-related data
- Explore innovative ways of improving products and services as well as increasing profitability
- Update all internal sales systems and be able to track and report changes to management internally
- Promote effective communication with customers and develop professional working relationships with all customer representatives
- Manage economic analysis, data mining and quotation by customers and products
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of base oils, lubricants, chemistry, and/or oil/petrochemical supply chain
- High level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office, ERP, and/or other legacy systems
- Ability to comprehend terms and conditions of written contracts
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent communication skills required with customers and related partners
- Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other teams and team members
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience and proven track record in B2B sales or technical sales
- Experience in base oil and/or other lubricants business strongly preferred
- Business travel required as necessary
