Our firm is looking to hire a Mechanical Technologies Technician to help with the manufacturing of our latest products for Chemical Plants. This position is hands-on projects - from planning to production. This position is exposed to CNC machines, laser machines, 3D printers and a variety of testing equipment. Candidate will work under the direct supervision of Chemical and Mechanical Engineers and will be responsible for performing the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings with engineers regarding specifications and/or needed upgrades on product line and new high temperature measuring instrumentation.
- Assemble, install, and test electrical components, equipment and/or control devices.
- Install and repair instrumentation in customer's sites (Chemical Plants).
- Knowledge of basic hand tools, drills, electric screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, etc. is required, as well as basic math and measurement skills.
- Testing experience required- preferably experience with volt meters, calipers, etc.
- Experience with laser machines and/or 3D printers a plus
- Follow company's policies and procedures
- Draft and update construction procedures
- Follow company's safety protocols
- Interact with other employees and engineers
Associate Degree - Required
Required: Speak/Read: English
Company will conduct background check, as well as administer drug-testing.
This is a "Smoke-Free" facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
