Supervisor - Korean-Speaking

Note: This position is for a bilingual English and Korean-Speaking role. Fluency in the Korean language (written and spoken) is required.
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team to provide supervision, mentorship, and support to assigned Korean-speaking staff and clients with autism and developmental disabilities (school age and adults). The ideal candidate will be able to run effective meetings, guide staff through their work and stay on top of their assigned caseload. The ideal candidate will meet all deadlines and be able to hold meetings on time while still making sure everything is completed accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the provision of quality services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Develop & revise support plans with supported individuals, their family members, and their staff.
- Maintain contact and communication with assigned families.
- Recruit, hire, train, and monitor direct support staff (DSPs).
- Identify and support staff training needs.
- Ensure on-going safety requirements are implemented as appropriate and needed.
- Provide back-up hands-on support, as needed.
- Complete all documentation as required.
- Maintain regular communication with case managers, department team members, and other stakeholders.
- Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Korean language (speaking, reading, writing)
- Bachelors degree in a related Human Service field.
- Two (2) years experience providing intensive support to individual with significant behavior challenges.
- Six (6) years hands-on experience working with persons with developmental disabilities (may be substituted for the degree).
Preferred Qualifcations:
- Knowledge of appropriate, non-invasive behavioral supports
- Knowledge of virtual means of contact for routine use, e.g. ZOOM, HD Meetings, TEAMS, FaceTime, etc

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,560.00 - $68,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
