QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed or Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to speak and write English well
- Able to work independently
- Demonstrate freedom from communicable diseases/Tuberculosis
- Cleared record according to Illinois Abuse Registry
- Cleared record according to Illinois State Background Check
- Provide physical examination signed by physician
- Provide proof of Certification in Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Able to communicate efficiently with physicians, pharmacists and family members
- Strong assessment skills

- Daily assessment of Residents experiencing change of condition
- Oversee medication management services during shift
- Oversee services delivered per service plan
- Oversee nursing employees
- Initiate incident investigations
- Maintain charting accuracy and completion for shift
- Maintain Resident roster and 24 hour report
- Answer incoming calls
- Greet guests and provide tours
- Accept delivery of medication
- Direct and provides emergency care
- Responsible for master keys
- Maintain security of doors/locking and unlocking
- Interpret Emergency Alarm Panel and direct staff accordingly
- Direct dining room services
- Monitor maintenance concerns and communicate needs
- Maintain transportation schedule for the shift
