The General Foreman will oversee all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical projects of construction of the Electrical Foreman's. Your duties will include; but not limited to examining plans and potential sites, as well as developing a plan to install all electrical wiring and equipment installation needs to a new or renovated building. You will assist to enforce a budget for the projects, as well as supervise workers and field personnel in implementing the electrical plan. The General Foreman will also ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed, as accident prevention and worker safety are high priorities in this potentially dangerous environment.
Frequent travel is a requirement for this position between office/field. You will need be visiting job sites every other day to subsequently monitor activities of the work crews to ensure progress and safety, and oversee quality control testing once the project has been completed.
General Foreman Tasks
- Assist with developing a plan on conduits run and work flow.
- Communicate with the project manager that the project is staying on course and within budget.
- Communicate with the General Contractor on scheduling.
