The Scenic Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining the scenic + fabrication inventory. From owning project packing lists to purchasing + restocking, we’re looking a detail-oriented, spreadsheet enthusiast with a self-starter attitude. Being adaptable, organized, reliable, and collaborative, this position works across departments to keep the team stocked and ready to go!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration
- Keep digital inventory tidy + accurate
- Lead annual inventory counts
- Physically count + note shortages of inventory
- Process purchase invoices by separating into categories then entering data into software
- Purchase stock to maintain supply levels
- Update digital inventory when there are additions/subtractions in physical inventory
Scenic / Fabrication
- No tool or material knowledge required // Willingness to learn hundreds of items is necessary
- All inventory items, cabinets, travel cases to be learned through weekly 1-on-1 training sessions
- Responsible for the inventory of construction essentials such as hardware, tape, hand tools, power tools, onsite supplies as well as raw materials like fabric, wood, acrylic, carpet
- No previous tool or material knowledge required but willingness to learn hundreds of items is necessary
- Own the scenic project packing list; pull listed items from inventory for outgoing projects
- Label + pack project items for shipping or truck load
- Coordinate with Project Managers + Fabrication team on timelines, labels, sizes, incoming deliveries
- Assist Project Managers on truck load days, verifying all scenic packing list items are loaded
- Manage returning project items; follow up on each scenic item, check for damage, confirm with PM if item is for inventory, client storage, or trash
- Check-in traveling cases + tools; notify supervisor when items are damaged or missing
- Plan ahead for multiple projects needing onsite cases + tools
Warehouse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
- Coordinate with Warehouse + Tech teammates to fulfill project packing lists
- Participate in forklift training + certification. Safely operate a forklift in warehouse
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree required // 2 years of college education or job experience preferred
- Preferred valid New York driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent data entry skills // Data ownership + consistency is key
- Desire to organize, label, discard items to keep a tidy environment // Pride in cleanliness
- Maintaining a calm + positive attitude during stressful periods
- Always willing to lend a hand + be a team player
- Effective interpersonal skills // Ability to listen, comprehend, + communicate concise information
