:*(1)* behavior analysis
or*(2)* a field closely related to clinical or community psychology that is approved by OPWDD; or*(b)* The party must:*(1)* have either:*(i)* a Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, applied psychology as it relates to human development and clinical intervention, or a related human services field; or*(ii)* a New York State license in mental health counseling; and*(2)* have or obtain OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development; or
The applicant must:*(1)* have a Bachelor's degree in a human services field; and*(2)* have provided behavioral services for an agency in the OPWDD system as of, and continuously since, December 31, 2012; and*(3)* either:*(i)* is actively working toward a master's degree in an applied area of psychology, social work, or special education; or*(ii)* completes at least one graduate-level course in an applied health service area of applied psychology, social work, or special education each year.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Provide Training to the primary caregiver(s) and/or direct support professionals who provide services to the individual, on how to use the behavioral supports, interventions, and strategies that are specified in the Behavior Support Plan (BSP).
* Training the individual on using the behavioral supports, interventions and strategies that are specified in the BSP.
Work under Licensed/Certified Social Worker.
Implementation of Behavioral Plan.
* Monitoring the implementation of the BSP through activities including:
o Observing the individual, family and/or staff as they utilize the supports, interventions and strategies that are specified in the BSP, and/or
o Following up with the individual, family and/or staff as to the effectiveness of the supports, interventions, and strategies (either via face-to-face contact, telephone calls, or electronic contacts),
* Updating the BSP after monitoring to remove supports, strategies and interventions that are not effective, to introduce less restrictive interventions (i.e., fading), and/or to include new supports, strategies and interventions,
* Transition planning with the individual, family, collaterals, and other agencies to refer the individual to appropriate services, to maintain continuity of care through longer-term implementation of behavior strategies specified in the BSP, and progress related to the plan.

Pay: $24.60 - $26.50 per hour
