Maintenance Technician
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the maintenance trade
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
