Communications Coordinator / Graphic Designer
Hybrid Position / Full-Time / Non-Exempt
The Communications Coordinator/Graphic Designer will develop strategies for organizational communication, ensuring that all materials communicate our vision and mission while supporting the overall brand. Graphic design and content creation will be an integral part of this position in addition to overseeing the digital presence of the organization across all social media platforms. The position plays an important role on the Creative Arts team and will report to the Worship Director. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Support the overall mission and direction of Crosswater Community Church.
- Craft and implement all graphics, photo/video content for digital and print media.
- Work with Lead Pastor and Worship Director to create visual identity for weekend services.
- Write, edit, and oversee the design, layout and production of all church communications.
- Maintain the website and actively manage all social media platforms.
- Connect regularly with all ministries and help them to communicate their context to the congregation and to the general public.
- Capture video and photos at church gatherings to be used in social media, graphics and communications.
- Lead and manage the communications and programming workflow for weekly services, special events and various projects.
- Other duties as needed.
Required Education / Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photo Shop, Premier or other equivalent software.
- Three+ Years related experience and/or training. (Presentation of prior portfolio or content encouraged).
- Creative eye for capturing photos and videos.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
