Job Summary:
The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement, improve conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing, data analysis, and customer segmentation, as well as experience with Klaviyo and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building from scratch email flows and campaigns
- Add and optimize all compatible email automations in Klaviyo.
- Tune flow filters and triggers for better customer targeting.
Targeted Campaigns and Segmentation:
- Segment subscriber lists based on behavior, engagement, and other relevant properties.
- Design and execute targeted campaigns for different customer segments.
- Create and manage an email preference page for subscribers.
Data-Driven Strategies and A/B Testing:
- Utilize Klaviyo and Shopify data for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve key metrics like open rates, click rates, and conversion rates.
Maintain Best Practices:
- Ensure email list verification with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC compliance.
- Regularly warm up new domains and IPs, and scrub email lists.
Ensure Email Deliverability:
- Perform pre-send email testing and monitor DMARC analytics.
- Maintain IP reputation and perform quarterly list scrubbing.
Implement SMS Strategies:
- Collect phone numbers and consent through various methods.
- Set up and manage SMS automations alongside email campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with SMS regulations.
Use SMS for Key Communications:
- Implement SMS strategies for welcome sequences, cart abandonment, shipping notifications, and VIP offers.
**Qualifications:**
- e-commerce or agency helping DTC companies
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
- Strong proficiency in Klaviyo and Shopify.
- Experience with data analysis and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of email verification methods and best practices (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
