Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of appraisal experience
- State specific Certified Appraisal License
- Advanced market knowledge of multiple asset types
- Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills
- High emotional intelligence and team leadership skills
- A self-starter mentality and experience taking ownership of projects with limited direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills, as well as the ability to execute on multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Staff Appraiser Team VP is to supervise and manage the appraisal team of Residential Appraisers and their manager(s), to produce quality, timely appraisals. They will utilize their subject matter expertise as a source of knowledge for their team outstanding client service.
- The Staff Appraiser Team VP will regularly engage with the CVO to assist with client feedback, find creative solutions to increase operational efficiencies, and partner with our business development team for analytics and reporting.
- It is preferred that the Staff Appraiser Team VP be able to provide direction appraising various properties and be able to learn client requirements quickly.
- Assist the CVO and Staff Appraiser Manager in the development of policies and procedures which best serve the team and our clients.
- Review overall performance of the staff appraisers and their vendor manager.
- Provide status updates of staff appraiser team projects and analytics to the CVO and COO
- Coach and train appraisal team and their manager(s) as needed.
- Complete tasks related to payroll and expenses in the absence of the Staff Appraiser Vendor Manager.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to communicate to the team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
