- Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blue prints, engineering plans and drawings.
- Set up and Program CNC Lathe and Mill machining centers.
- Familiarity with G-Code, M-Code, & Conversational Programming.
- Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control
(CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies
- Maintain specifications by observing, drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations, take measurements, detect malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing work tools and quality assurance.
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and fixtures and gauges to check work and perform detailed inspection of parts produced.
- ATTENDANCE: Good attendance includes reporting to work on time, sticking to work schedules, being prepared to start work on time, remaining on the job during the workday to complete assigned duties and limited use of unscheduled leave.
