Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments and verifying the accuracy of received products.
Summary Responsible for all aspects of Projects unloading, checking and stocking inbound freight. Responsible for all aspects of Projects order picking, packaging and shipping per customers specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Unload and check inbound shipments, notate any visible damage. · Verify material matches packing list in regard to Part Number, Description and Quantity. · Distribute incoming shipments to appropriate Department · Process printed Pick Ticket Releases and move product as indicated. · Distribute all interoffice material/product as indicated. · Stock product in the appropriate bin location per the Put Away Document Report. · Handle non-conforming product in accordance with P-831 Control of Non-conforming product – Including Vendor and Internal errors · Inspect Quarantine, Non-conforming Product, and Vendor Return areas on a regular basis. · Pick items according to Pick Ticket details, by Quantity, Unit of Measure, Part Number and Description. · Pack picked orders by verifying Quantity, Unit of Measure Part Number and Description · Ship order per customer’s specifications, verifying Ship via, address and identifying HazMat. · Maintain a clean and secure work area. · Comply with all aspects of the DTI Health and Safety Program as it applies to position. · Comply with all aspects of the DTI ISO 9001 Quality Management System as it applies to position. · Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations - Distribution.
