Summary
This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the deployment of hardware and operating system services and related components by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties

Maintains continuous systems availability by engineering sound solutions and proactively maintaining network, hardware, and software.

Maintains all infrastructure security including physical security through building alarms, badging systems, keyed entry, and DVR surveillance.

Maintains all digital security and protecting systems, networks, and data from all threats including hacking, intrusion, malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, and negligent, unauthorized and/or malicious users.

Assists with data protection (backup and anti-virus systems), infrastructure maintenance and support (DHCP, DNS, WINS, WAN, LAN and Wireless), and messaging support (Exchange Servers).

Provides technical support for the corporate network, server and workstation installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance.

Performs upgrades and analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software and networking issues.

Configures, optimizes, and monitors operating system software and servers.

Occasionally provides remote and on-site support for remote facilities.

Provides day-to-day hands-on support for the enterprise Active Directory environment.

Supports the architecture, standards, and overall availability and performance of the client’s storage environment.

Performs all basic system administration tasks dealing with all versions of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2-2022 and Internet Information Systems (IIS).
On Call Responsibilities
This position requires on-call responsibilities. During on call shifts, this role is either within waiting to be engaged or engaged state. Schedules are provided in varying formats to insure qualified personnel is available during our business requirements, for each area of responsibility. Required on call times may change throughout the year depending on business needs.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least three years of experience with Windows 2000-2016 server OS in a networked environment, enterprise class hardware, IBM Blade Servers, Microsoft’s Active Directory and Exchange e mail technologies, including all related services (DDNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.), and performing component hardware and Microsoft operating system installations, modifications, replacements and changes.

Valid Oregon Driver’s license with vehicle insurance.
