About Rentals To Go
Rentals To Go was founded in Norwich, NY by Gary Brightman, a construction worker who recognized the need for portable toilets. He took the initiative to establish his own business, which eventually grew beyond his expectations. Our company has several branches in New York and has recently expanded operations to Florida and Texas. Due to the growth we are experiencing, we have a need to hire a talented Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Duties
Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
- Review competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development
- Network with businesses in the territory and build relationships and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business
- Build the company within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
- Work to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the Director of Sales
- Target potential customers and assess opportunities for sales
- Arrange meetings with potential customers and sell product offerings
- Follow up on sales leads from other representatives within the organization
- Produce quotes and orders as well as documenting sales activities and leveraging business intelligence through CRM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Utilize CRM software, to track sales activities and update customer information
- Travel within territory: 80%
Qualifications
· Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry preferred
- Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets
- Customer Relationship development
- Ability to sell value to differentiate Rentals to Go from the competition
- Prospecting / Cold Calling / Referral generation
- Customer Service
- Teamwork with all sales channels and operations
- Lead Sourcing
- Closing and Negotiating
- Time Management
- Organization
- Excellent follow-up skills (leads, issue resolution, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Decision Making and Problem Solving
- Valid Driver's License
- Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all Rentals To Go products and services

Schedule
Monday – Friday with occasional weekend availability
Location
This is a hybrid position shared between remote, office and travel
Mileage
Rentals To Go pays the Mileage Rate as recommended by the state
Salary Range
$55,900.00 – $64,300.00 / year + Commission
