Job description
The Innsbrook Corporation is seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, detail oriented utilities technician crew member for a full-time position working with a small enthusiastic team to maintain a variety of features within common areas of Innsbrook’s more than 7,500 acres. Innsbrook is a scenic vacation home community less than one hour west of St. Louis with more than 100 lakes, a public golf course, restaurant, an event center and more.
The Electronic Security and Cable Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining various mechanical and electrical systems and devices as detailed below. The Electronic Security and Cable Technician will investigate and resolve various problems with the systems, and effectively communicate plans and actions taken to repair or maintain the systems.
Security System Install and Repair
o Basic Electrical knowledge is needed to install and troubleshoot the alarm system(s).
o Work with IT team to document actions taken and program all retrofit and new installations.
o Installation of new security systems, including retrofit, in a clean and professional manner.
o Troubleshooting of security systems to resolve errors in reporting and notifications.
o Troubleshooting and repair cable issues.
o Security system work as directed.
Other duties as assigned
o The Electronic Security and Cable Technician will assist with the implementation and development of the IBK Database for use by the Utilities Division. The Technician will be expected to routinely use the IBK Database or a similar system and should be familiar with computer aided tracking.
The utilities division is in charge of the Water, Sewer, Security Systems, and Cable T.V. Technician may be asked to assist in other facets of the utilities system outside of Cable and Security systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training is a plus.
- Ability to use electrical and hand tools.
- Good physical condition with ability to work in uneven terrain in varying environments.
- Good critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Good oral and written communication abilities.
