Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility’s maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing maintenance teams, ensuring equipment reliability, and optimizing operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Manage and maintain records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Team Management:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Equipment and Facility Management:
- Monitor and inspect equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of equipment and facility systems.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Analyze maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance maintenance operations.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
