This position is an assistant position to the veterinary technicians/nurses. Primary duties include setting up and cleaning up for procedures; cleaning instruments, wrapping packs for sterilization, laundry, kennel dishes, cleaning of equipment; sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors. Walking dogs, cleaning kennels and caring for boarded animals. There is some animal restraint. Once proficient in the position new skills will be added such as learning laboratory equipment for the purpose of running bloodwork and other skill related to becoming a technician

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9 – 40 per week
