Maintenance Technical - Permanent Position Payrate: $62k - $73k per year
Location: LaVergne, TN
Shift: Maintenance technicians work 12 hour shifts. Shifts run from 6:00pm-6:00am. We follow a 2-2-3 rotation. Training Schedule/Hours: M-F, 6a-2p Benefits: Medical, Life, 401K, Dental, Vision and more.
Job Summary: Safely maintain, install, and fabricate production equipment to fulfill customer requirements. Position will require individual to work 12-hours shift as well as overtime requirements. Preference will be given to individuals with industrial experience. Will be accountable in the areas of safety, housekeeping (5S), quality (IMS), people, customer, costs, environmental (EMS), and productivity. Overtime possible.
Top 3 skills required: - Experience repairing/installing/troubleshooting industrial manufacturing machinery - Ability to read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings - Education Required: Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics, or related field (a candidate can have 3+ years of experience without a degree) Essential Duties AND Responsibilities Work safely and identify safety issues. Capable of working without direct supervision Reports and Reporting - Must demonstrate a working knowledge of production reports and departmental work instructions and ISO Documentation. Materials or Products - Care and attention is necessary to insure rubber products are produced according to specifications. Licensed Forklift Operator. Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems, conveyors. Test and observe running machinery Use soldering irons, hoists and lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, testing equipment. Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, machine error messages. Use database software. Equipment that the maintenance techs work on: Banbury Mixer Hydraulic unit operation Chiller & supply pumps operation Boiler operation Centrifugal Pumps Kuka Robot
