We are looking for a quality, self-start welder. This being an individual who has solid experience in the trade. They would need to be a fitter who can receive a blueprint, collect the required material, lay out their set up, tack their set up, and weld to print tolerances. We are willing to pay anywhere from $24-$27 an hour based on experience, knowledge, and performance in a brief weld test. See the job description/requirements below.
Experienced welder/fabricator required for fast-growing conveyor manufacturing company. This position requires substantial previous experience in a job shop manufacturing environment. Required characteristics:
- Self-Starter
- Able to read and understand fabrication blueprints
- Able to lay out work and fabricate large weldments to tight tolerances
- Able to assemble and quality check complex machines with 100% conformance to blueprint requirements
- Previous experience in a conveyor manufacturing company or other similar machine or tool industry
- Machining experience (Bridgeport) would be very helpful
- Work hours: M-F, 7am – 3:30pm, possible overtime up to 10 hrs/week
- $24 to $27 per hour
- Welding test is required at time of interview (bring helmet, gloves, and welding coat)
This is a fast-paced environment where employees are required to be self-starters and produce quality work with limited direct supervision. These positions are NOT suitable for production welding personnel
