Senior ESOP Administrators.
The Role:
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in ESOP knowledge and be customer focused. As a Senior ESOP Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of engagement management, including recordkeeping, compliance testing, distributions, and regulatory reporting. We strongly promote work-life balance with our remote option or on-site at one of our office locations in Charlottesville, VA, Columbus, OH, or Westchester, IL. Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, written and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Work independently and set priorities with minimal supervision while effectively managing a caseload of large and complex ESOP clients where you are primarily responsible for all aspects of the ESOP administration process.
- Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Interpret documents and resolve technical problems.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week during peak times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics
- 10+ years’ experience working specifically on ESOP administration including ESOP related compliance testing such as 409(p) testing.
- Strong technical knowledge of ESOP’s and other qualified retirement plans
- Possess or working towards QPA or QKA certification highly desirable.
- Experience in ESOP plan review highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and advanced level Excel skills
