Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Supervisor assists and administers unit turnover, repairs, renovations, projects, and on-call emergencies. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, make-readys, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, troubleshooting, and basic tools. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Job Qualifications:
Certificate in HVAC, EPA, CPO, or relevant field is required with experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Job Requirements:
1Minimum of three years in a related maintenance position
High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal .
Must report to work on time with a neat and professional appearance or, if provided by the company, a uniform with safety accessories.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and after-hours as necessary.
Must be courteous and pleasant to residents and co-workers at all times.
Must have reliable transportation with a valid state-issued driver's license and current liability vehicle insurance.
Must be able to succeedssfully clear a background check, drug screen, and an MVR.
Physical Demands:
The ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 25 to 50 lbs. correctly and safely. Physically able to climbs numerous flights of stairs daily. Stooping: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Kneeling: Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on the knee or knees. Crouching: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. Reaching: Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Handling: Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
