Accounts Receivable Clerk
Midwest/East Coast Remote
POSITION SUMMARY
PM Environmental, a Pinchin Company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support efficient AR collections, payment processing, and reconciliation functions. This is a remote position; however, we are considering applicants in the Midwest and East Coast regions ONLY.
The Accounts Receivable is responsible for the following primary functions:

Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment reminders, and account discrepancies.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers and establish credit limits in accordance with company policies.
- Initiate collections efforts for past due accounts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection efforts for management review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions and communications.
- Identify and recommend improvements to accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
