As a Treatment Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient and seamless operation of Spravato & TMS program. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. You will also be providing Spravato and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments (On the job training will be provided & there will be an opportunity become certified.)The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. The right candidate will be detail oriented, flexible, compassionate, self-motivated, and have integrity. Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Execute Treatment Prior-Authorizations with insurance
- Log all treatments, charts, and patient monitoring forms accurately
- Check for medication expirations
- Keep a detailed record of treatment productivity
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Work closely with the MD, PA's, and NP's to ensure open communication
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Administer Esketamine treatment (Spravato)
- Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Become TMS Certified under the supervision under the MD
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or Treatment Assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems, procedures, and EMR's
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, & prioritize work
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Extremely Detail Oriented
- Proficiency in Excel and patient management software

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
