ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
The USF Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is an integral part of USF and its mission by sponsoring a diverse and nationally competitive Division I athletic program. The program serves several significant constituencies, including its student-athletes, who are students first. The most important priority of the program is the progress of the student-athletes toward graduation. Other priorities include the health, fitness and emotional development of student-athletes at USF.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Design will be focused on overseeing the graphics for the entire Football department. This position will have direct reports - graphic designers and students who work work on assigned projects for Football
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing the football department's visual identity through creative assets. Production/finishing and design content for Football department including the recruiting needs.
Foster an innovative and creative environment that is responsive to the football department and University needs while ensuring that brand identity standards and brand personality are reflected in all communications. Remain current on emerging trends in digital technology to incorporate new technologies into strategies.
Prepares and distributes football creative materials to include digital, web, print, video, social media, and outdoor materials.
Oversee graphic designers, student and internship workers specifically working in football creative. Abides by all NCAA, AAC, and USF policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience in creative services and/or digital communications
FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.
PREFERRED:
2-4 years experience
