American Baptist Homes of the Midwest (ABHM) is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our corporate team headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN.
In this key role, you will work closely with the Payroll and Benefits Manager and Payroll Specialist, ensuring successful payroll management of our multi-state communities.

Pay starts from $70,000+ based on experience

This exempt position offers a hybrid work model of remote and in-office work
As the Payroll Administrator you are responsible for managing the bi-weekly centralized payroll process for approximately 1,450 employees, located in 9 states. You will work closely with our Payroll Specialist and key contacts at each community to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing in compliance with company policies, state, and federal payroll-related requirements. This is a hands-on role, with responsibility for garnishment processes and payments, reconciliations, tax filings and other payroll reporting. You'll also be a resource to employees, to address questions and corrective changes or adjustments.
What you will need:

3+ years progressive payroll experience in a multi-state payroll environment

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred

UKG Dimensions HRIS experience preferred

Accounting and general ledger knowledge

Experience with payroll taxes required

Garnishment processing experience strongly preferred

Strong computer skills to effectively create and modify reports and spreadsheets (Excel) and utilize HRIS system

Ability to maintain confidential information to ensure privacy of employee data

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service, training, and issue resolution
