Summary/Objective: Warehouse Quality Control Technician is responsible for validating all shipments from the warehouse or plant.
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Shipment verification - verify correct inventory was pulled from warehouse locations for shipment

Quality check material that was picked and packed

Document and communicate any discrepancies of scheduled shipment to the Warehouse Office
- Verify order are accurately filled

Ensure shipments are properly identified and labeled

Check drivers in and out of the shipping management system

Ensure shipments are properly loaded into carrier trailers or containers

Ensure trailers are clean and odor free before loading

Ensure trailer temperature meets company guidelines

Liaise with forklift personnel, shipping office and warehouse management to ensure shipments are completed as scheduled and filled in a timely manner.
- Enter daily activity information into the various electronic platforms, logs or information boards

Engage and respond to customer requests and concerns in a timely and positive manner

Communicate with warehouse management on shipments that don’t meet company standards

Assist Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager on monthly inventory cycle counts.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures Comply with all safety regulations and adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Work and Excel
- Working knowledge of relevant electronic equipment (scanners, electronic boards)

Working knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods

Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to reach and bend
