Spring EQ is seeking a Junior Loan Processor to join our rapidly growing Home Equity team! The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience processing consumer home loans. A strong candidate will have a solid understanding of TRID requirements, proficient knowledge of loan origination technology and thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be driven, passionate and flourish in an operational role that is extensive and dynamic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Customer Advocates in resolving 3rd party items such as verifications of employment, Homeowner’s insurance updates, title curative updates

Communicate effectively on the phone and via email when following up on required 3rd party items

Manage daily tasks and set follow ups until the item is resolved and in the file
-
Help cover Customer Advocates pipeline while on PTO

Basic understanding of the closing disclosure, updating fees and deliver initial CD to borrower if minimum criteria is met (Manage past due CDs sent from Tableau reporting)
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of professional working experience (customer service or mortgage preferred)

Excellent customer service skills

Basic knowledge of home loan terminology

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience working on loan origination / processing software’s like Blue Sage system knowledge a plus

Ability to multitask, problem solve and efficiently manage time

Displayed accountability with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and keeping commitments

The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open ended business challenges
