This position does NOT include supervision or management of other employees. You would be a 1-person department. We are looking for a "jack-of-all-trades" with the experience and skillset to perform the duties below.
We do not typically use 3rd parties for repairs or maintenance (unless the repair is too advanced and requires it). The position's title is Facilities Supervisor (but you will not be supervising others). In this role, you will maintain, repair, service and upkeep our company headquarters near DFW airport. This position will report to the VP of Operations. Maintenance tickets are submitted by employees, and the Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for receiving all new tickets, performing repairs and maintenance requests from tickets, and closing out tickets upon completion. Our building is climate controlled, and standard office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm; Monday - Friday. In addition, this position will work with the VP of Operations on the general upkeep for the property, and routine maintenance and repairs of the rooftop HVAC units, as well as other general maintenance duties needed. Hand tools provided by NPI.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing repairs and maintenance in warehouse/plant, office facilities and ,equipment.
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Configuring energy management control systems within our current facilities, maintenance of air compressors, and lawn sprinkler systems around all our buildings.
- Using hand and power tools testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.
- Must be able to understand and use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
- Typically performs work in the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, machine and equipment repair, and electrical.
- Assembling modular furniture, minor construction and repairs to the interior and exterior of the facilities.
- This position could also spend up to 50% of their time on the production floor assisting with assembling conveyors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid HVAC technician license or certification required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime, and weekends to support the plant
- Ensure all corrective work orders are completed timely and accurately
- Oversee the maintenance records and responsible for completion of timely maintenance
- Track cost associated with maintenance and inspection
- Responsible for company truck timely routine maintenance
- Must have exceptional diagnosis and troubleshooting skills as required in a manufacturing warehouse plant
- Must have basic electromechanical, painting, and welding, skills.
- Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations
- Schedule and ensure all make-ready repairs and service are completed correctly and on schedule
- Diagnose and perform maintenance/repairs including but not limited to, plumbing and electrical
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow machine manuals, mechanical and electrical drawings
- Must be detail oriented and able to comply with necessary documentation (work orders, parts inventory removal, etc.)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing warehouse plant environment
- Must be able to read work instructions, assembly drawings and, schematics
- A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, construction, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Extensive commercial electrical and mechanical background.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, trade standards, and general practices within the maintenance industry.
- Valid driver’s license.
