Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic is seeking an experienced Health Coach to join their team in either a part-time or full-time capacity at the Hiawatha clinic.
The Health Coach will serve an important role in a small health clinic. Qualified candidates must have a personal commitment to personal wellness, be able to handle confidential patient information, have superb customer service skills, be organized and be strong in time management, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Health Coach will communicate and interact with a small team of a nurses, front office staff, and nurse practitioners. Strong communication and decision-making skills, and attention to details are important.
Primary Duties:
- Review food sensitivity testing with patients.
- Initiate gut healing protocols with patients.
- Lead group visits promoting lifestyle changes.
- Empathize, connect, and partner with patients to help hold them accountable with recommended lifestyle changes.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Other projects as assigned.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited college with a degree in health or behavioral health related field.
- Health coaching certificate preferred.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technological literacy to be responsibly and effectively use various digital platforms and programs.
- CPR certified preferred.
Required Experience:
- 2+ Years of experience working with patients directly in a health coach/counselor capacity.
- Previous experience in clinic setting preferred.
- Dedication to one’s personal health.
- Interest in a more integrative (combining natural with conventional) approach to medicine.
