Job Summary:
As the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes. Reporting directly to the Sr VP Finance & Accounting, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.

Develop financial models to analyze and forecast business performance, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.

Provide variance analysis and explanations for actual results compared to budget and forecast.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Prepare and present insightful financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement through data-driven analysis.
Business Partnership:

Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers, evaluate strategic initiatives, and assess the financial impact.

Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and improve financial planning and analysis processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insightfulness.

Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
Specific Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

7-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in construction.

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.

Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning software (e.g., BPC, OneStream, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from large datasets, enabling informed decision-making.

Strategic Planning: Ability to contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans by providing financial analysis and insights into potential opportunities and risks.

Project Management: Strong project management skills to effectively coordinate and prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to completion.

Financial Reporting Standards: Knowledge of financial reporting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Experience in conducting trend analysis and forecasting to anticipate future financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments to gather information, align objectives, and drive financial performance.
