How would you contribute?
Provide customer support to both internal and external customers, including, but not limited to, the delivery, return and exchange of product, the processing of sales orders and logistics/transportation support. Responds to inbound leads. Manages customer orders from initial order through delivery of product. Responsible for invoicing, quality support and returns, responding to inbound needs, and credits or exchanges of product.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer support
- Apply processes related to assigned customers’ orders/changes, price quotes, delivery time, invoicing, complaints and adjustments
- Process necessary paperwork, verify customer credit and communicate as necessary with accounting team
- Validate pricing/discounts are applied appropriately and as assigned
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding any changes in orders, status, colors, shipping dates, etc.
- Apply manufacturing practices to ensure available inventory
- Work closely with all members of the team, both internal and external, to ensure timely and efficient communication
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints. Escalate issues as needed
- Maintains a good working relationship with their assigned outside sales person
- Ensure deadlines are met in support of customer and business needs
- Respond to inbound leads by relaying customer inquires to sales
- Gather information and answer customer’s question
- Apply customer focus to daily operations
- Utilize integrity in all daily operations
- Utilize company software, enter and ensure data integrity with all transactions
- Maintains safety standards
- Maintains company attendance standards
- Other duties as assigned

- Three to five years of customer support/logistics experience required; manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Associates Degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Capability to utilize problem solving skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals
- Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels
- Must be self-motivated and positive
- Display highest ethical standards
- Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information
- Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills with the ability to operate Microsoft Office products
