Private Duty Nurse
Duties:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care in the client's home.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of NJ
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse, preferably in a home healthcare or private duty setting with trach/vent experience.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
