Top Duties and Qualifications
The Inventory Control Specialist, as directed by the Inventory Manager, participates in the oversight and
maintenance of the Company’s raw material and finished goods inventory.
Responsibilities
● Assist with the oversight and maintenance of inventory.
● Collection, review, and entry of daily transfers and adjustments.
● Coordinate and oversee daily cycle counts with Warehouse/Yard personnel.
● Reconcile daily inventory variances; report weekly recommending corrective procedures as
required.
● Import daily stock reports into the system.
● Schedule company-wide physical inventories and assist in the counting, entry, and reconciliation
of all stock.
● Support production scheduling/receipt functions as required; with specific emphasis on
manufacturing orders and banding receipts function.
● Contribute in a meaningful way to the company’s demand and supply planning function.
● Contribute in a meaningful way to the company’s ERP system and real-time operations.
● Mastering Excel, provide data analysis and reporting as demanded by the Inventory Manager.
● Performs data analysis; identifies opportunities/risks/trends; and makes recommendations and
offers tactical solutions.
Skills
● Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business preferred.
● CPIM APICS is preferred.
● Outstanding analytical and relationship skills.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Project management experience.
● Self-motivated.
● Accuracy and timeliness of work product is a must.
● Mastery of inventory basics.
● Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills.
● NetSuite is a plus.
● Contribute in a meaningful way to the company's demand and supply planning functions.
● Master of Microsoft Excel.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to manage time and organize.
● Ability to multitask on various projects at any one time.
Onsite at Cambridge Pavers, Inc. Lyndhurst, New Jersey, USA
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET, and every other Saturday 7:00 AM ET
to 12:00 PM ET (Saturday schedule March through December)
Salary of US$60,000.00 to US$70,000.00 per year.
