The department is looking for an experienced IT Architect to fulfill a vital position to further advance the mission of the organization in support of research and education.

Qualifications

5 years Application engineering/solutions consulting, Business Development driving revenue growth in software, industrial automation technology/solutions, membership business targeting manufacturing sectors. (Required)
- 3 years Development or testing or implementation of software platforms, solutions or tools including application software, embedded computing, or enterprise software (Required)
- 3 years Software development and/or implementation of OT (Operational Technology) or manufacturing systems (Required)
- 5 years Process engineering/manufacturing engineering experience (Preferred)
- 3 years Customer/end user project engagement experience (Preferred)
- 3 years Common programming language such as Java, C# or Python and some experience with API’s like REST or GraphQL. (Preferred)
- 1 year Industrial programming language such as Ladder logic, SFC or G-Code (Preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Manufacturing landscape (Required)

Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions in both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments (Required)

Demonstrated knowledge in integration or application of manufacturing technologies such as sensing, control, modeling, simulation and analytics (Required)

Demonstrated ability to apply complex concepts to clear user experiences (Required)

Possess strong written, verbal, & presentation communication skills (Required)

Possess strong teamwork influencing, and coaching skills (Required)

Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple concurrent tasks while working in a complex and dynamic environment, and to ensure that the deliverables are accomplished (Required)
