Job Summary
The role of the Service Technician has specific tasks and goals as outlined below, these goals and tasks will change and/or be refined over time, developing and evolving in a continuous pursuit of improvement.
The priority of your position is to successfully service your assigned clients and interface with the business in such a way as to achieve:

The Key Performance Indicators for this Role are:
1. Quality Control Score > 95%
2. Maintenance Visits per Week > 32
3. Customer Attrition / Complaints < 4%
Included specifically as the core tasks of this position are:
1. Utilize exceptional Customer Service skills to ensure Lothorian standard is upheld.
2. Perform a minimum of 32 maintenance visits per week meeting Lothorian standard.
3. Perform and/or assist in the pool openings and closings of your clientele.
4. Efficiently communicating with your Customer Service Representative
a. Status of jobs on hold.
b. Status of client issues.
c. If work is completed early, checking in to assist the remainder of your team.
5. Interface with the business through the Service Titan mobile dispatching system.
a. Effectively completing assigned work orders.
b. Prepare quotes / customer information for Customer Service Representatives.
c. Log relevant job information.
6. Interface with the warehouse through Purchasing Agent and inventory management system.
a. Ensure proper paperwork has been completed for inventory transfers.
b. Maintain cleanliness of yard and warehouse.
7. Maintain cleanliness of your person and vehicle.
The Service Technician reports directly to the Director of Service.
The schedule for this position will be:
1. Full time as defined as 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. In season will demand extra time, season defined as March 15th through November 15th.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrates a service-oriented customer focus for both internal and external customers, with proven experience in relationship building.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally.
Ability to understand and follow instructions given, either verbally or written.
Ability to do basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Ability to operate vehicle in safe manner.
Ability to operate iPad and Smartphone.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to successfully pass drug screen and background check.
Education & Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2. Valid Class C driver’s license
3. Clean driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years
4. 2+ years of experience; will train.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
1. Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
2. Talking, Hearing and Seeing
3. The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions.
4. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions.
5. The worker is subject to hazards: pool chemicals, exposure to excessive heat.
