Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to manage front desk activities, including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and supporting the administrative team. Duties:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Verify insurance information and update patient records accurately.
- Schedule appointments and follow up on patient inquiries.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Manage phone calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and administrative documents.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in daily tasks.
- Assist with general office tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and inventory management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Experience working in a dental office or medical clinic is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
