The Hartsbrook High School is seeking a Math Teacher. This teacher, in consultation with the HS Chair, will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum for the program, tracks and main lesson blocks for the following courses: Algebra I, Geometry, Probability and Statistics, and possibly Mechanics. A full time load would also include 8th grade math. The Math Teacher role involves creating an intentionally inclusive classroom culture grounded in the tenets of Waldorf philosophy, collaborating with colleagues on a daily basis, and participating in the overall life of the school, which includes but is not limited to advising, festivals, parent/caregiver evenings and communication, and attending faculty/staff meetings.
