Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our facility's engineering operations. This includes supervising a team of engineers, maintaining equipment and systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and address any issues
- Manage the repair and replacement of equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate engineering projects and resolve any issues
- Stay up to date with trends and advancements in engineering technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an industrial maintenance environment
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, high voltage, low voltage, and other relevant engineering principles
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred
