Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a solid background in the defense industry to join our client's team in Washington, DC. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including strategic planning, budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring the company’s financial health and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Manage the budgeting process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and overall financial performance.
- Provide strategic financial insights and leadership on decision-making issues impacting the organization.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
- Oversee the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to support and enhance overall company operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role within the defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
