Electrical and HVAC/R Training Center is looking for you to join the Team of dedicated instructors.
This position will require travel to the 5 boroughs and Long Island.
This position is primarily responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success by performing the following duties.
Our program provides a comprehensive and intensely hands-on training to someone starting out in the electrical field. We are looking for instructors qualified in applying their skill and theory to instruct incoming students.
Instructor on site to assist with training and additional training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate, Educate, Develop and prepare present and future Electricians in all aspects of the educational process.
- Maintain expertise in subject matters taught.
- Provide regular, precise and timely feedback to students and school administration concerning academic progress as well as behavior and attendance.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 years minimum experience as an Electrician
- Flexible work schedule- Available on call
- Pipe bending, Fire Alarms, Motor Controls, Circuits, Electrical Theory etc
- Master Licensed Electrician a plus
- Certification and/or related licenses/certifications preferred (OSHA 10 or 30)
- Prior teaching experience a plus.
- Ability to work with other instructors and independently while utilizing excellent communication and emphasis on organizational skills
