Founded in the 1950’s, Osborne Rincon CPAs, a dynamic, full-service accounting firm and the largest and most respected accounting firm in the Palm Springs area, provides audit, tax, and consulting services to diverse clientele. Due to continued growth, we’re currently seeking a dedicated team player with 5+ years of public accounting experience to lead and manage audit engagements for privately held businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements from start to finish
- Prepare and review financial statements for audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Research, analyze, and address financial statement and audit-related issues, identifying and communicating business risks and recommending solutions to ensure high-quality services
- Assist in budgeting for new and recurring engagements and monitor budgets and timelines to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to audit staff and conduct performance evaluations
- Oversee challenging assignments, address complex issues and propose technological and process improvements while staying updated on industry trends
- Develop and cultivate professional client relationships, address inquiries and identify service opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; Master’s degree a plus
- 5+ years of recent public accounting audit experience, with a focus on attest services, and the ability to effectively manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from start to finish
- CPA license required
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx Engagement & CCH ProSystem fx Knowledge Coach software proficiency are a plus)
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently with minimal supervision and professionally communicate tasks to an engagement team
- Must reside within commuting distance of Coachella Valley

We provide a competitive salary of $110,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and supplemental insurance and retirement plan.
