Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients struggling with addiction
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment interventions
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support clients in making positive changes
- Facilitate cognitive behavioral therapy sessions to help clients develop coping skills and address underlying issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including data collection and progress notes
Experience:
- Previous experience working in addiction counseling or related field
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and interdisciplinary team members
