Our reputable independent insurance agency office is currently seeking a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing a great first impression, exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in office support, possesses strong clerical skills, and has experience in an office setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Responsible for beginning of the day and end of the day office open/closure tasks.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff and takes messages.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Responsible for daily welcome screen messages for scheduled visitors.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. Would be trained on all insurance industry specific support tasks.
- Performs basic recordkeeping.
- Assisting with in-office activities and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
