Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with our childcare curriculum, incorporating activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages active learning and promotes social skills.
- Supervise and engage with children during various activities, including arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children, addressing any special needs or concerns.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to develop a cohesive and comprehensive learning environment.
- Document daily activities, including meal and nap times, and communicate with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support children in their personal and social development, fostering a sense of self-worth and self-esteem.
Skills:
- Experience working in a daycare or childcare setting, with a focus on classroom management and caregiving.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively, addressing any behavioral issues promptly and professionally.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of children with special requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children.
- Physical stamina and ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the day.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
