Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced on-site production accounting clerk for an independent film. The calendar for this project is 3 months at the most, as we are already in pre-production. This on-site production accounting clerk will work with 20 off-site CPAs and Tax Attorneys in partnership.
The task will involve cost reporting, AP, hot costs, cash flows, petty cash p-cards, and union mixed with non union payroll, with complete visibility to the line producer. Must understand how film unions work and monitor to ensure compliance throughout the film production.
Additionally, should be very comfortable working extensively with CPAs and Tax Attorneys regarding film credits and regulatory items. This project will provide NO TRAINING! Must be already highly skilled to hit the ground with the rest of the team to bring value add.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a film production accounting environment is preferred
- Proficiency with Skype, Quickbooks, Gusto, and Film Entertainment Software
- Comfortable working moving schedules throughout the day
- Experience working with multiple personalities that are standard on a 200+ film set - Type a minimum of 50WPM; please check typing and Quickbooks skills prior to applying since we test real time to see if you even qualify to be considered
