CKD USA Corporation is looking for a dynamic local candidate in the Austin, TX area. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately ship, and inventory all products for CKD USA’s business operations. Follow customer shipping requirements and processes.
Requirements:
- Manually, or using hand truck, performs various material handling duties in the facility.
- Prepares items for shipping
- Load and unload goods onto trucks as needed.
- Verify, inspect, and enter receipt of incoming shipment.
- Prepare shipment of non-stock orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities.
- Pull and prepare stock items accurately, verifying identifying information and quantities.
- Notifying inside sales/customer service when parts are not on shelf.
- Notify supervisor when parts are not on shelf to fill order, to fill out inventory adjustment form.
- Schedule shipment pick up as needed.
- Perform the safe day to day activities of the warehouse while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Achieve all product movement as directed by CKD Corporation, CKD USA management, and customer requirements.
- Support inside and outside sales departments within CKD USA, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Implement corrective actions if deficiencies arise.
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design and recommending improvements.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts for certain products.
- Work to continuously improve all warehouse functions.
- Assist with warehouse and minor building maintenance.
- Present a positive and respectful professional image towards co-workers and customers; lead by example and follow established policies and processes.
- Make sound business decisions based on the best interest and goals of CKD USA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum 2 of Years of relevant work experience, working in a warehouse or factory setting.
- Knowledge/hands-on experience with software/technical tools i.e. Microsoft office suite, Excel MS Word etc. Proficiency in Dynamics or other Inventory Management software applications a plus.
- Soft skill requirements (i.e. strong English communication skills – both written and oral, ability to influence, etc.).
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment, Forklift Certification preferred.
